If you're referring to upgrading to or installing Windows 7, as I suspect
your are, Windows 7 will not include OE or any other default Mail Client
*including* Windows Live Mail.

I suspect you grew concerned when you read
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/windows7.htm. Whoever wrote that needs to
do some additional research: While many OEMs (e.g., Dell) will be
preinstalling Windows Live Essentials in Windows 7, that does not mean any
Windows Live application are installed. Windows Live Essentials is the
installer used to download/install applications such as Windows Live Mail
and Windows Live Messenger.

Confused- will I lose outlook express when new version comes out? Do I
have
to leave xp? Will xp support outlook express so I do not have to chose a
new
e mail program? If I has to chose what do I use safely? The reason I am
asking is because people at cloudeight say we should not use program that
will be in the 7 upgrade- not to check it off i download- I am so
confused-
perhaps I should just use outlook even if I have to buy it. Thanks in
advance
