Okay that's the status bar text. In IE go to Tools | Options | Security and click on the Custom button. Then page down the options until you get to Scripting, and then where it says "Allow status bar updates via script" check the Enable button. Then it should work. That is in IE7, but I think its in the latest IE6 as well.

Hi Steve. It is a ticker in an html stat. Several of the girls in the html class said that the tickers are flashing.
Here's an example of the code in one of the scripts:
window.status= " ~~~* An Ozark Mountain Creation ~~~ Stationery by Lorna *~~~ "
All of us have XP SP2, we are all using IE6 and we all have that security update I mentioned. However, I don't have the ticker problem but several of the other girls do. (The flashing ticker is seen when the stats are viewed in OE)
Thank you, Steve.

Hi Debbie,
Can you post an example of the code here in a message? I suspect that they removed the ability to script it, but I'd need to see exactly what you are trying to do.
cheers,
steve

Hello. Recently Microsoft issued a critical security update KB928090. Some people have reported that tickers in stationery are now wildly flashing, after having installed that update.
Do you have any information as to a "fix" for this ticker problem (other than completely removing the tickers LOL) ?
Thank you
Debbie
